旧朝倉家住宅と代官山ヒルサイドテラスを分析対象とする。本研究では内部空間で“自然が刻む時”の獲得方法、境界部のしつらえを明らかにする。また、その２建築を比較分析し、時代の中での特徴の変化を研究する。今回は研究項目を「光」と「植物」に絞った。採光方法を変え“自然が刻む時”を内部空間で獲得していることがわかった。また、両建築は軒を用いて空間に光の変化を与えていたが、軒の造り方に違いがみられた。旧朝倉家住宅では植物から“自然が刻む時”が獲得できていたが、代官山ヒルサイドテラスでは失われていた。
