First, I wish to apologize for a delayed reply.
Studies and tooth pain kept me busy.
I am happy to have a conversation with you too!
I actually didn’t expect a reply, so I was pleasantly surprised!
>Let’s fellowship at any time :D
Sounds good to me! o/
I hope you draw more Fin&Est! I love how you draw the two Finnics.
(Estonia is an original member of Föreningen Norden, and we invite Estonia into Nordic events. So, who knows? Problem is: Estonia lacks the Nordic model @ economy.)
When I was in Helsinki, the first thing I saw was two drunks fighting.
Then, you truly know you are in Finland!
Ah, now I miss Finland.
I often long for it, and I can see why I had relatives fighting for the country during World War II (Danish volunteers)!
Down here,
we do not get to see any aurora,
but we do celebrate Christmas - or, as we call it, “Yule”.
But even as south as where I live, the winter gets COLD.
If not snowy, it is very windy. To have a warm sweater, thick socks, scarf, mittens and a hat is a must here during wintertime.
Skåne is a very important part of Nordic history.
Sadly, neither Sweden or Denmark cares for our history.
Finding good history books on our beautiful region is difficult!
We are indeed closest to our bros in Denmark.
Some of us still speak a Danish dialect! But we see ourselves as very unique.
Skåne is the province with the most churches and runestones in all of Scandinavia!
If you look closely at the runestone,
it was damaged (like many others were!).
We try to keep as many of our Scandinavian runestones as possible!
They are memory stones, and give us a clue to names and how society worked back then.
I study at Lund University! :D
“Kulturen” is the name of the museum, yes!
I have been told, and I can understand. It’s a great, but sad song!
Even when I didn’t understand the lyrics before, I loved it, and it is still sometimes heard on the radio!
The Danish band Daze actually made a song named “Tamagotchi”.
Tamagotchi was that popular!
I think Japanese have a very clear sound. It also sounds so disciplined and polite to us! We often think of hardworking businessmen when we think of the Japanese.
Oho! Japan really is full of mountains.
I have always wanted to see a hot spring!
I noticed Gunma have a cute little horse mascot.
Are horses important to Gunma?
