表彰式は、小林芳雄農林水産技術会議会長の主催者挨拶に始まり、来賓として、佐々木卓治東京農業大学総合研究所 教授（前ＩＳＰＣ理事）、永田 明 国連大学 上級プログラムコーディネーター及び本村知睦 独立行政法人国際協力機構 農村開発部 参事役より祝辞をいただき、選考委員会の岩元睦夫座長より審査経緯の報告がありました。続いて、賞の授与が行われ、小林会長より表彰状が、岩永勝JIRCAS理事長より奨励金の目録が受賞者に授与されました。
