杏さんはじめ、声優陣も豪華で素晴らしかった。

男のような気質のお栄や、偏屈な親父の北斎...

それぞれの登場人物たちが魅力的だ。

杉浦日向子さんの作品には、今年秋に公開予定の映画『合葬』で、僕は関わらさせていただいた。

その時にも感じた事だが、杉浦さんの作品は最低限の描写しかなく、じわじわ、しみじみ感じさせてくれる。
本を開くとすぐに現実を忘れて、登場人物たちと同じところにいる感覚。
杉浦さんは実はタイムトラベラーで、江戸などをそのまま見てきて後世に伝えているのでは？
と、思ってしまうほど“リアル”なのだ。
